10u dd pitching....what do you guys think????
Update on Dd...she has one perfect game vs. Our arch rivals and has hit two homeruns over a 200" fence. Both dead center field. Not bad for a 10y/o. Couldn't be more proud of this kid. All of her hard work is paying off. Her team is 46 games into the season and undefeated. We...are playing...- beastcakes10

Great advice Rocketech1..!!! We are on it. We worked really hard on her change up over the winter and it is all paying off. We really worked on selling it, three times a week all winter long. All our hard work is paying off!- beastcakes10

Nope! We are in Illinois. A few hours away from Chicago. There are about 5 or 6 girls in this area that can throw in the 50's. Two other girls on Dd's team can.- beastcakes10

Will do Coach James. This video was from about three months ago. But you are right, she does lean. Her pitching coach and I are working to correct the problem. These new pitchers can be stubborn sometimes. She is in the 50's as far as speed with a top speed of....well....let's just say...- beastcakes10

She is really fast Jad and we originally switched her because she wasn't hitting the ball from the right side. She is right eye dominant and that favors the left side. I think her original coach was thinking slapper, but a month into switching she was doing extremely well for a 8y/o. I have...- beastcakes10

We had our first tournament here recently. DD got to pitch 12 innings and recorded 29 k's. We won the tournament and faced some very solid teams. I can't believe how far she has come in such a short time. One proud dad right here!!- beastcakes10

She is 5'4" 128 pounds. Pretty big for a 10u. And she is always growing at a ridiculous rate. She is extremely strong for her age. She almost hit a ball over a 220" fence last year at ASA state at 9y/o. Just really proud of her. She loves the game and works really hard.- beastcakes10

She did very good last fall with only a month of pitching lessons. I'm really looking forward to this spring. She had gained about 5mph and has developed a change up. Thank you for the kind words. My dd is really getting a kick out of all this!- beastcakes10

Actually that is a girl on our team and her mom that you hear in the background. My girl doesn't talk much when she is pitching. She really takes this stuff serious for a 10u girl. I just give the signs, and she does her best to make it happen. She has a really good change up also that we...- beastcakes10

The hitting coach we go to is a father/mother team. The dad is the hitting coach and the mom is the pitching coach. My girl would just sit and study what the pitching coach would teach while waiting to hit. Around July last year my daughter was in the hitting cage just playing around...- beastcakes10

Hi. I've posed a few times on the hitting side of this site. My girl is 10 and this is her 3rd year of 10u travel ball.
