Based my vote on watching the middle school commit 18ish errors in 5 games. In our case the errors also demoralized our hitters.

I will go with less errors. If the team makes less errors or no errors you do not give the offense a chance to get any more hits or runs than they deserve.

More hits. Every time, every age. Hits turn into multiple bases more often than errors to.

I think that if you assume that a hit is a hit and not a hit because of an error you'll always win on hits. Errors will compound problems and if you pile them on top of hits then that leads to bad innings. But all things being equal if you're playing error-free ball then a team that hits more wins more.

This may as well be pandoras box.
It could change drastically depending on weather you meant a “scored” error or a play that could have been made with a little above normal effort but was not. Either way I have seen both.

A great hitter can beat every pitcher.

Fast pitch pitching is superior, while hitting is poor.
