We played in a Local "tournament" for LL this past weekend. Opposing coach had strongest/oldest players at SS and catcher ... my 11 yr old DD was at 3rd and serously wanted to steal home ... very gutsy smart baserunner ...
big lead...got herself in a "pickel" ... thow back to 3rd she goes for home ...
ends up in collision with catcher ... she was out too ...
catcher came looking for DD after to apologize and to see if my DD was alright ... she complimented my DD on her guts and baserunning .. my DD told her nice play ...
