A new worst has been achieved. schedule for tourney just came out. Sat 2 games, both at 9:30. AM and PM. at least same park.

I'm fightin' someone over this.
Fun.... We had a similar one a few years ago. 8am (we lost), so an 8pm consolation game. A little over an hour drive home, so some went home in between. Lake Michigan beach was about 15 minutes, so about half made a beach day out of it.
My daughter had an 8:00 am on Saturday followed by a 4:30 pm and an 8:30 pm. That was fun. I dropped her off for warm-ups at 6:30 am.
Someone holding a grudge? ??

Most of these tournaments are not 'built' with the athletes in mind. I look forward to the day families walk away from this model of athletics. ?

We had a game that ended 11PM, with another one at 8:00 AM. Girls in bed around 1:00AM back up at 5:30AM. I will get my sleep when I die.
Burroughs Park with prison restrooms 1 hour from home. Fri night pool games. 8am Sat game. Rain delays. Drive back home. Back to fields at 2pm. More rain. Go home. come back at 11pm. Backed up games. 1:53am get in car to go home. They were nice enough to push the Sunday morning game to 9am.

There is a tournament in Caldwell Idaho called Moonlight Madness. The games start Friday night and continue around the clock until Sunday morning. It's funny to go to a 6:00am game watching the teams finishing the 2:00AM and 4:00AM games. The games in the middle of the night are mostly 18U and 16U. I have no idea who thought this up. I expect a Sadist.
