To coach or to join. Asking for guidance

My dd had a very good 9U rec season several years ago. My wife was the rec coach. After the season, she decided to put together a new travel team. OMG what a disaster!! Think we lost two games by a combined 50 runs before the whole thing imploded. So many issues you just can't imagine. It would take way too long to even begin to explain, but sluggers summed it up very well. Thankfully it was extremely short lived. We took DD to an individual tryout on an established club with terrific coaches, and never looked back. I would encourage you to do the same. Best of luck with whatever decision you make.
