Lol..Hank didn't get cheated did he?
Such a short explosive swing. Imo the best hitter to ever do it.

Looks like he almost jumped out of his shoes on that one...lol.Such a short explosive swing. Imo the best hitter to ever do it.
I am trying to think of good high ball hitters. Puckett maybe? You got something from him? Here’s a late plane by Trout. Back elbow late. Up pitch. Then a missile on a regular pitch. Trout keeps his elbow up for awhile. Murders low pitches, and struggles a bit w high stuff. Maybe a reason or maybe not.

She looks similar to Jennings here..Romero's free hands allows for driving this pitch up in the zone. She was definitely cheating for this pitch.
Is that toe touch or a frame or two before?..no cheatingView attachment 25869
Refer to Post #8.
FYI: Forearm, not elbow.
It's a simple leverage issue. The less flat the forearm is, the less leverage you have on the bat head. You want the 90 deg angle like Hank above at the start, then bring the elbow and bat head down in unison (to hip slot)
