Scary Day for Us!

DD had a ski-jumping accident today. Fractured three vertebrae in the middle of her back (L8, L9, and L11). Lucky for her there was no spinal cord damage. And, at this point it doesn't look like surgery will be needed. However, she will have to wear a back brace for 6-8 weeks. Nothing quite like this kind of Christmas present!
