Right Here For Now
In NE Ohio, ASA is still tops as far as quality play goes. That being said, PGF is making a very strong push and is gaining a lot of credibility as being the place to face the top competition in the state. Pony is really, IMO, nothing more than the top all-star rec teams playing each other in this area and USSSA is almost nonexistent here. The tournaments they do have are not much better than Pony, if at all. NSA has a strong presence but it is waning and is considered a strong "B" team tournament at best in this area.

USSSA in South Florida is most popular. Most of the other ABC orgs have one or two qualifiers per year in the area so it is easy for the local teams to qualify for the State/National tourneys if they so desire.

All over the state is a bunch of others - ISA, NSA, USFA. Played some great NSA and USFA tournaments in North Florida.

Every one always says ASA is the best here, but in reality all it means is that all the teams that suck just don't bother to register. It is still all the same teams you will see in the weekly USSSA/USFA tourney so it isn't necessarily 'better' - just that you wont get any easy games that weekend.

PGF is trying once again to come to the area but so far they haven't managed to get the right person behind it that is going to attract the teams they want.

Now that you mention it, that petty much nails it for Central Florida.
