Daughter has been pitching for a couple of years. She has always positioned the foot that she pushes off of the rubber with directly at the catcher (directly down the power line). She recently started opening the toe a little, just prior to pushing off. she feels that it helps her get into an open position a little easier. Is there an advantage to one foot position over the other, or is it nothing to be concerned about? I'd appreciate your thoughts.
