New bat for 10U player advice?

Do you feel a 30" is too big? I've ruled out a 31" based on your train of thought, but DD is telling me the 29" is too short to get clean hits on the outer corner. With her, feel is everything, and I believe what she's saying.

30/20 Xeno. The other bats are good also. The primary consideration at this point is what feels good to her; but the size sounds good.

DD has Easton Synge 30/18.5 and just recently got a Xeno 30/20. She's 12 since June 2, but has been using 30 inch bats since 9. She said the Xeno is noticeably heavier and feels endloaded, but has no problem swinging it. Another girl who I know younger than DD uses a Easton Synergy Speed 29/19 and two other girls on that team have the Synge 30/18.5. All these bats are hot out of the wrapper.

If 30" is working out for her, go with that.

I pulled the trigger on the 30" Xeno this morning - a price I couldn't refuse! DD has a friendly tourney on 7-10, so it should arrive in time to get some soft toss and live cuts in before seeing a game. Thanks to everybody who chimed in!

DD used her Xeno yesterday at practice. I'm still amazed at the speed the ball comes off the bat. I've never seen anything like that and I see all the newest bats at tournaments.

DD used her older bat and the xeno. There was a HUGE difference in the ball speed coming off the bat. Very impressed with the Xeno.

I'm glad to hear of all the success stories - UPS tracking says our bat will arrive Friday, just in time for Saturday's practice!
