Well last night was our only scrimmage for 8U. Game goes six innings. We score 2 in the top of the 6th and then gave them back in the bottom half. Game ends in a tie...boo! Plenty of helmet stickers were passed out. DD played pitcher and made some stops. Also got a hit! Overall not a bad night.

Our coach just sent out a message on our group. My DD was one of 2 players who batted over 500 this past weekend, and one of 4 over 400. Those 4 had 16 of 22 RBIs between them. Cool 
It's fun to look back at the scores just from our first tournament in early March. 18-2, 14-1, etc. This past tourney it was more like 4-3, 5-4, with only one really bad one (12-0). It seems like they're improving as a team really, really quickly. That was only a month ago & it's definitely a trend of narrowing scores that you can see over the course of the 4 tournaments we've played in.
