I have posted here before. I have read this site for years with great success . But as always trying to get my DD and myself better. DD has been working on turning the barrel better , or I should say creating separation better, which seems too turn the barrel more naturally. I'm interested in any feedback with my attempt at getting DD in the right sequence with all the right mechanics. We made the changes 3 months ago during fall/winter season. Power is way up. Adjustability is better. Top velocity pitchers seem to give her some problems. Could it be a timing issue? Or does she need to shorten her swing a bit? Or am I just trying to rush this process and not letting her GET COMFORTABLE with her basically new pattern.
She was more all forward in her old swing. But velocity was never an issue. Her power wasn't great though. She was mostly a singles/doubles hitter. And didn't care for the outside pitch.
Here's a link to both swings.
Thanks for feedback and advice.
