Of course they would. Why would any local area help out if no one from their areas there? It happens with all major sporting events.

If you notice, at every step in the process, district, state, regional, a host team is included. Its a courtesy for the district hosting the tournament. I think its a great way to allow more girls to participate. Remember, LL is about development of the players and the sport above all else. Allowing a host team is in line with that goal.
