Dude, I mean it... things aren’t so bad. We will get through this and we don’t have to eat our own to do it.

In Kenner, La., near New Orleans, last weekend there was a gathering of 11 people at a neighbor's home. The governor of La. implemented a rule limiting gatherings to no more than 10. Kenner police were notified and officers knocked on the door and made one of the group leave.
The didn't swab his nose.

Still waiting for the graph from you that shows the equation when the economy completly folds and people lose everything. When does your computations show re-open as essential.
Cosidering it appears you care about people. Do you consider anything past shutting down the economy. Not picking at your obvious graphs. Looking for your logic toward finding balance.

Here’s the thing- our representative government is guided by laws, the oft misquoted and misunderstood Constitution.

Here is what you always have to remember. The Constitution prevents unreasonable intrusion of the government. In times like these, (and in the words of Paul Harvey, there have always been times like these), who is to say what is reasonable and what isn’t? Without the benefit of 20/20 hindsight how can we know if the government is being reasonable right now? But we elected the current government so for now we are stuck with them.

Next... the Kenner La. police.... I can only guess what happened and I will take the facts you provided as accurate. So what really happened there is the police were sent to a house. Probably because the neighbors called and complained. They asked the people to break it up and they did. Yes, there was probably some coercion involved to make it happen. But really...... What could the police do if the residents said “sure we will” and quietly ignored them? Sure the cops have guns but what does that have to do with anything? They can’t shoot you for that. They don’t want to take you to jail. They don’t want to have contact with you. Maybe you get some kind of ticket that probably gets dismissed in a few months when they have court again.

I fail to see any unreasonableness in any of this.

When you walk through the door as a player at Alabama, the first thing Patrick Murphy supposedly tells the new players is “the sooner you figure out that this isn’t about you, the easier this will go.” (Or something to that effect.) Kind of the same thing with people.

Our actions affect other people. That’s the point.

My only question regarding the flu is towards those talking about a vaccine. The question is would a vaccine equivilant to the influenza vaccine be good enough. Not compairing. Inquiring.
