DDs team is going to state for our first time ever in 4a and she tied our single season homerun record at 21 and broke our runs scored record with 64 so far. Shes now second for career home runs at 45.

Welp the season is over. We had a great run. Finished runner up in state lost in the bottom of 7 2-1. Ran into a very talented young pitcher and just couldn’t do much. Good pitching beats hitting most days (unless you are Oklahoma lol) DD finished her career batting mid 400s for her career, is now tied for homeruns in a season at the 21, 2nd for career at 45, first in runs in a season 64 and top 5 for runs and rbis in a career and our team set a state record for fielding percentage at .983. She absolutely loved high school softball. I wish everyone could have the experience she did and if she can enjoy the next four even half as much it will be a win.
