Saw something interesting the other day and thought this thread might be a good place to post it. In the GIF below, notice the rear foot sliding backwards. Obviously, that has to do, in part, with wearing bald cleats on slick turf - probably wouldn't happen with cleats in dirt. But does it say anything - good or bad - about how the hips/lower half are being used in this swing?

The most interesting part of that video of Miggy is his toes coming off the ground slightly. Many if not most swings are anterior sided so death is a little strong.Sounds more complicated than it is. A back leg anchor is a must. And staying closed into foot down is key as well. Using the posterior chain is tough at first. Using the anterior side is death. Folks will get confused by the closed portion bc the pelvis will open naturally.
