Sure if you are interested in what an actual low probability catch looks like in MLB, then visualizing it ( along with seeing the related data), would obviously be necessary. Not sure if that is what you are referring to.Agree not relevant to understanding that accumulated data is used for defensive metric.
However the #of mph is relevant to the detail how that metric is measured.
As an example people measure bat speed. if all they talked about was bat speed without offering the actual
# mph it is a conversation without detail.
Maybe you and I should try and communicate in another language because English doesn’t seem to be working out…
