So we are playing 3 friendlies today in Indio California (2 +hour drive from home in Lakewood). We roll up to check out the fields. The fences on one of the fields are 150-205-160! On the other they are 161-224-160! BTW this is 18u.

6 friendlies between 3 teams yesterday..... 4 HR's total. My DD hit one to left center that prolly went 200'. Another girl on our team hit one down the LF line that probably went 190'. Didn't see the other ones. It was odd. We played a tournament a while back and hit 5 HR's in pool play as a team with normal distance fences.

I would rather have fences like that than the no-fence fields we've been playing on where hard ground balls become HRs.
