Can't talk long I'm umping a game

We had that happen in a tournament once. During a timed, drop dead game the plate umpire took a call. Our team did their warm up pitches and were standing there in the field for what was probably only 5 minutes but seemed like ten. And no - he did not stop the clock or add any time back on.

As bad as this looks, I think that I'd take him over the umpires that we had this past weekend!

A know a guy that would probably yell something innappropriate like -

"Hey ump, get your head out of your apps!"

Next thing that would occur, would be Sleepwalker getting escorted from the ball field by the tournament director.

More than likely the ump is calling New York City and waiting to see if the call on the field will stand or if the instant replay will show indisputable evidence that the call on the field needs to be overturned.

As bad as this looks, I think that I'd take him over the umpires that we had this past weekend!

Did we play at the same tournament. Our AC has coached for 20 years and got thrown out of his first game it was so bad. If they could eject
for thoughts I would have been out after the 3 pitch.
