Back yard batting cage?

Thinking about building a batting cage. Looking for opinions, tips do’s and don’ts from folks that have already been through this. If you could post up a pic of yours that would be awesome. Want something that will last even if I have to spend a little more up front.

Skywalker sports has a semi permanent batting cage that I have at my house and it sells for just under $1000. We have been extremely happy going on 3 years now.

I think I can get my hands on 3 power poles that I could cut up and set 6 20’ power poles about 4’ in the ground. 3 on each end about 75’ apart and string wire from end to end to hang the net on. Then I could put some lights on top of the power poles. Has anyone done this and is so how did the poles stand up to the weight of the net?

Unless you really want to build your own for fun, buy the skywalker sports one. Bonus is once you are done with it nothing is buried in the ground and you can sell it and recoup some money.
