DD got her new bat today, and had batting practice tonight. That bat is HOT. She went five long rounds of hitting and didn't want to stop. :) She has a tournament this weekend, so I will update this thread then. But for now, she loves the feel of it, no sting...and the pop is awesome.

Disclaimer: the person swinging the bat makes it more awesome.

That's great, maksoftball. Gee, I wish Worth made the 454 in 32/23; I'd love to see DD try it. I guess we're just going to have to be patient and work up to the 33/24.

Just ordered a 2013 Worth 454 Legit 32/22 for $169.96 new. Should get it Weds. Also got a 2013 DeMarini CF5. Both can be had fairly cheap. I got both of mine from the same place, but I did see the CF5 for cheaper soemwhere else.

I know what you mean. DD has the 454 -12, and was hot out of the wrapper. This year, I was wanting her to get used to swinging a lil heavier bat, so I wanted to try the 454, 30/20. However, their -10 starts at 31". I thought it would be to large of a jump going from 18 to 21, so I ended up getting a good deal on a synergy speed 30/20. Completely unaware of how heavy those bats run, would have been better off stepping up to a 31/21 454. She loves her legit, it is extremely well balanced. Probably one of the better or best balanced bat that we've felt, and the grip is amazing.

Almost went with the drop 9 for my DD but purchased the white and orange 34/24 instead. She has a tourney in Des Moines this weekend, but i don't think the weather will be warm enough for her to use it.

Any opinions on miken freak or lite (-12?)? DD is on the short side at 5'2" plays u14 & u16 and while I think she needs 33" length the (-10) weight she hasn't adjusted to yet.
