so we had another game last night, actually won 6-5. Had the bags loaded in the bottom of the 6th when time ran out. #1 pitched all 6 innings, still walked too many, 9 and also hit 3. But she worked out of a lot of jams and the defense played well, a few caught stealings, etc. We worked up the #1 catcher as a pitcher in practice on Sunday and she actually did pretty good, very raw but she threw hard. I think my daughter can handle at least an inning here and there as she is throwing without pain or any issues for now.
Now I have to figure out how to better juggle 12 players, had an irate parent confront be last night about her daughter sitting 3 innings. She also thinks she should be playing the IF over a couple of older girls. Guess I should post a new topic about that one. I'm going to be gray or bald by the time this season is over...
