12 reasons I now hate the Olympics

For activities such as gymnastics, figure skating, diving, etc. that involve athleticism, but are judged subjectively, we deemed to be an "athletic exhibition".

I really like this! Pound for pound, gymnasts are the best athletes in the world IMO. (And divers and figure skaters aren't slouches at all.) It's the way their "sports" are run that I have issues with.

No doubt they are great athletes with tremendous skill. It's the subjective nature of the scoring that most folks have a problem with.
