The Lady Dukes NJ/PA have 17 teams, and according to their website, Unity has 52 teams. So, now with the merger, Unity will have nearly 70 teams. If anyone says it's about the kids, they're lying. It's about the money.

I'm not a fan of the head of the NJ organization, or their former parent organization head, but I'm not surprised this marriage lasted just over three years.20240723_194344.jpg

Never a shortage of drama in the tri-state. Maybe they'll go back to being the Renegades...I kid.

I know you’re talking about the NJ LD teams here, but up here in New England - there is a suddenly a big push underway to get the LD organization established for next year.

First move was to partner with the CT Jades for 12U/14U and now creating an 18U team out of Rhode Island. My DD has a friend from RI that was on the 14U NJ LD Torres team and I’m curious to see if her dad is at the 18U LD tryout as part of the new org.

I'm sure Lotti is thrilled with that development. And he's been expanding into CT for a few years now.

There is at least one member on here who's daughter played with the NJLD in 2024. Maybe he'll chime in.

Yup - I’m sure he’s just as thrilled as when Fury Platinum showed up 3 years ago in NE.

Rumor is that a Thunder coach will head the new LD team - I’m curious to see if that is true.

I know the coaches in the Thunder organization,so I'd be curious as to who that was...

And don't forget CT Impact showed up a few years back. Now the Empire State Huskies are on Long Island.
