@Shawn The back arm is a timing thing. It just happens to coincide closely but not absolutely w the timing of toe touch. Still not a flat forearm.

Timing don’t mean nothing if you can’t hit.Hitting is timing. Hitting is not power etc. timing=power not mechanics. The scap holds/releases when necessary. Timing based.
