Nicely worded Ken, thanks for sharing that. I just sent this to my twins who are heading into their Senior yr of College. I did try to get them to embrace many of their "last" events (HS softball and Basketball at States, Travel Ball Tourneys, etc..) but I'm not sure they really got it in the moment. They've been helping Coach their old HS softball team each year (they play in the Fall here) and I think that flooded them with lot's of old memories at the field.

They did get to go to the NCAA Regionals WCWS this year with their College Team and it was definitely the closest thing to the old TB tourneys that you described...hopefully they get another crack at that before moving on and being relegated to the weeknight beer leagues!
