Grand Valley State University in Michigan. She got into a 5 year Masters program. Got her bachelors in Electrical and Masters in Biomedical engineering. Only did club 2 years, the intern job got in the way.

She played against Navy once in the club World Series tourney. There is a proud Dad on here (can’t remember his handle) his dd went to navy and played club one of the times they won the Natty.
Awesome! What a great experience and opportunity for your DD!

Require to graduate? Not unless it is Co-Op like Northeastern. Getting one looks good on your resume though..
I agree. That's a co-op. Internships are usually volunteer or underpaid. My nephew went to RPI for Civil engineering, and they suggested internships but didn't require them. Students who do co-ops tend to do much better in their job search since many of the companies that offer the co-ops to the schools hire the students after graduation.

I would recommend using College Board for the search. You can put in what you are looking for regarding location, major, size, and sports. You can specify which sport you're looking for, and the system does the work for you.

I'll have to check out College Board. Was not on our radar.

If you manage your time well and don’t have a borderline personality disorder like me, Aerospace/ME is doable with a sport. You just cannot expect to be the last one to leave the library and the first to practice and the last one to leave practice..there are just not enough hours in the day.

Sage advice. I aways did better in college when I was in sport vs when I was in the off season. It forces you to manage your time. Of course, it took me until grad school to actually learn to be a good student.

Harvey Mudd is an excellent engineering undergraduate school that jointly fields a softball team with Claremont and Scripps colleges in California. They are the Athenas.

Interesting. Maybe it’s a regional thing, what it’s called. The school called it an internship and told them they should expect 12-30 an hour for pay. The ones she applied to paid $15-18. My son took a business internship and was paid as well.
