Absolutely, I'm being picky here TDS, I wouldn't say she made a nice adjustment, I say it was more desperate and the only thing she could do at that point. But she managed to get barrel on ball and should be commended for that
To be fare the difference in off-speed/fb for fast pitch vs baseball is much longer.. Also she has some sit for the off-speed which you don't see out of to many girls.. Like I said if she balances out her move out I don't think you would see as much adjustment.

Within the initial function of the elbow they are the same. Then she adjusts. And the elbow reacts. No drag
So you actually believe there is no drag? That she’s in sync? She has nothing left but to drag the bat through the zone. The adjustment is the drag, the drag is the adjustment JMHO

the back elbow being a bit forward is not bat drag. As long as the middle turns and the bat is in sync w that, there is no drag of the bat.

Just like this one. Is this a lunge or an adjustment? Vlad Sr. Uses his legs, Lorenz uses her hands, Bonds uses his hips.

Lol, you keep using the word lunge, why is that? It’s because they are lunging. And rightfully so, these hitters are doing whatever is necessary to get barrel on ball. But a lunge is a lunge, and bat drag is bat drag regardless of the situation. Do you teach your hitters to bat drag and lunge? I doubt it, there are much more effective ways to adjust, but I know every swing isn’t perfect and I wouldn’t expect it to be. Cheers

WW, she is lunging.. She is letting the pitcher dictate the AB. She isn't beating the pitcher to her position of leverage. She is adjusting due to her movement pattern.
