What is a fast ball in FP?

The fastball, is generally whatever a kid throws when they're first learning form and control. It's most often a spiral, or semi sprial spin with little break. Once form and control are mastered, they can learn the movement pitches. If a kid can use a fastball as a tool and be effective, then keep it in the box. Better, is mastering 3 movement pitches, being able to change speeds and place those pitches at will.

Wrong, in my opinion.
I say a FB is a bad peel drop, because of the grip. If the beginner is taught the right peel drop grip, they can begin to master control with forward spin, instead of bullet spin.
