Tonight at the end of practice my DD's coach had them working on infield bunting/slapping situations. He (a former fastpitch player) decided to have my DD pitch to him and she made him whiff on a dropball. She thought he missed it on purpose but he told her it was "a hell of a nice pitch". I think he was a bit shocked.

Even if he did miss it on purpose, I thought it was pretty cool the way he gave her a confidence boost.

She couldn't quit talking about it on the way home.
