I actually have two queens. One is on their back foot to emphasize the violent transfer.
This new rule will not aid you unless you have proper sequence and shift!
It'll simply reduce IP calls

Here is where I think they can leverage it (pun intended)


Starting blocks are used in track for faster acceleration

No matter how tall or short you are, the measurement is based on your own foot lengths with the adjustment range being only a ¼ of a foot length which will be different for each athlete (varying foot size). Start with your back foot a distance of one "foot length" behind your drag foot.

When you take off out of the starting blocks, you will push off of both block pedals. Stride foot first then drag foot.

Although many top pitchers already push using their stride foot first, the extra space with allow them to increase the acceleration of their stride foot, and ultimately their momentum forward. This will be especially helpful for taller pitchers as they will get into a more athletic lean position.

I'm definitely interested in what others think on this.

For what is worth, I use the queen of the hill and talked with Rich Dunno on the concept of using two now to help teach the double push.
