The closest Cert Tincher instructor near Omaha is in Lincoln, Ne. She's not very responsive to emails. So we go to the one in Irwin, IA. We have not been invited to see Denny.

You have to be INVITED to see Denny? How does that work? I mean, does your local "certified" coach recommend who gets to meet him? Or am I misunderstanding?

I’m pretty sure new students can sign up to take lessons at his home base in Virginia, but spots are very limited when he’s on the road. It makes sense, I wouldn’t expect him to spend a lot of time and money marketing one of four spots at a clinic in places all over the country. He depends on the local instructors to fill the clinics, which has the effect of being an invitation event.
