Better than seeing DD's first home run over the fence - or her first no-no - was the look on her face (and the added pep in her step) last night when DD told us about the email she got from the college coach telling her how much scholarship money was being offered. DD has worked her butt off - and of course mom and dad have told her as much - but it is truly different when the value of the effort is verified by the college coach. What a ride!
