Used equipment swap area...thoughts

We have a new Fastpitch Organization and I was thinking of having some sort of "Used Equipment Swap Area"

We could advertise the stuff parents/kids don't want anymore on our Facebook page and display it at our training facility.

My question has anyone else done this type of thing and does it work? If so, do you have a site to view to see how you are doing it...

Realistically most equipment gets retired in between seasons.

We have a winter training and bring a bunch of stuff there that someone can grab if they want. Otherwise thier coach can try to run something down.

(Mostly we have a lot of inexpensive aluminum bats)
