twin 12yo's and their first high end bat

Twins are back from Gma's so they finally get to swing the heavier end loaded bats...crossing my fingers. Xeno and catalyst are on my short list for sure. Letting them get the feel of the ROckettech's this week.

Do they have games soon? If not, and they struggle at first with the weight, (it will feel different), don't let them give up, or jump right back to a lighter bat. A lot of us have success with having the girls swinging 26-28oz slow pitch bats in the off season.

we have 3 weeks (6 practices) and 3 hitting lessons to work it out. They are big girls and I would think hitting heavy is good. going up from a 17 oz 30 in bustos...way too short, the lightness was good though to get mechanics started, because they are new to softball...2 seasons.
