I'm pretty sure there is a lady <5' on Alabama's roster, or used to be. Think she was right at 4'10" or 4'11". I don't think she would have graduated yet, but could be wrong.

EDIT..

Just found it.

Good catch on Iamurri. When I transferred the data over to Excel, the players' heights (5-7) were converted into dates (May 7). When I manually changed them back heights, I changed Iamurri to 5-10 instead of 4-10. I went back and made sure that I didn't make that mistake on any others, and I don't believe that I did.

Thanks!

The average height of all US woman over the age of 20 is right at 5'4".

For all SEC softball players:

Mean: 5'7"
Median: 5'7"
Mode: 5'7"

For SEC pitchers:

Mean: 5'9"
Median: 5'9"
Mode: 5'10"

If I have time, I'd like to do other conferences. I'm sure that height data won't change much, but I'm mostly interested in what states are producing players to the major D-1 conferences.

I'd have to add Pac 12, Big 12, Big 10, ACC, maybe Big East. Any others?
