Question: batter pops ball up to the third base person, she gets under it, the ball hits in the glove and spins out. The whole event takes place in foul territory. Foul ball! The better then hits next pitch out of the park. Scorer error or hit? I say error but home team scored as hit (home run).

The droped foul ball is recorded as an E5 allowing the AB to continue.
The subsequent hit is recorded as a HR for the batter.
The run is unearned to the pitcher.

Here is the test: Did F5 misplay foul fly ball that could have been caught with ordinary effort and thereby prolong the at-bat of the batter? Exception: the foul fly ball was dropped to prevent a runner from advancing on the catch. If you answer "Yes", then this is an error.
