I posted this in another thread about Coaches eye etc... but I thought it was cool because the ball looks like it's touching the bat, but the shadow of the ball looks like it has a short distance to travel.

Here's my youngest DD in 12U Nationals this past summer. She came away with 5 victories plus a 0-1 loss in 7 innings on an unearned run.
