My DD is in her second year of 8U rec ball. She recently started taking pitching lessons and we have been working everyday. Today was opening day and her coach (me) decided to throw her in the deep end. I let her pitch the second inning. She did really well. The very first pitch she threw was a strike. She walked three but got her very first strikeout! She got at least one strike on every better she faced. I'm one proud daddy.
