Hi all,

My family is planning to attend a USSSA Pride game at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in the course of a Disney vacation this summer and I have a few questions.

1. Does anyone have any experience with this and have any guidance on making the experience as smooth as possible?
2. How early can you get in the park (e.g., do they have an open batting practice)?
3. Any recommendations on getting autographs/meeting players?

Thanks,
Mike

Our family went to the opener with the NPF Bandits. I can't say anything for open batting practice as we got there a little before the game. The biggest thing you need to know is that Champion stadium gets very hot. There is shade if you sit below the upper deck. As far as access to the athletes goes, you can meet them on the left field line after the game and they are awesome with their fans. We had a fantastic time at the game. My daughter made us sit right behind the Pride's dugout and we couldn't leave to go to the shady part of the stadium for the entire double header. Bring plenty of sunscreen and drink plenty of water.
