Your safe. From what the schedule says, our first 16u showcase is in Florida with one day of practice scheduled beforehand in Orlando. Since they are so talented, it was deemed that only one day was needed to figure out where in the batting order they will hit, which positions they will play, learn the 107 offensive signs and the 53 defenses that they will use. The pitchers already have their 9 pitches and are throwing the Super Speedy FB at 81mph. Now if we could only get our star catcher to get off her knees for the 68mph riseball we'd be fine.

Most of the players have told me that they would prefer to have the Magic Bus drive them over to Daytona so they can shop, sunbathe and swim in the ocean as opposed to going to Disney. Although they may be able to play softball at the highest levels, their diminutive size will not let them ride the "Big Girl Rides" as they put it.

Nappy Time has been tentatively scheduled for the afternoon....thus the sunbathing. They feel that a quick 50 minute nap and Ba-Ba before shopping will suffice. They are just hoping that someone will remember the SPF 2000 sunblock. When they wake, they'll be ready for a brand new Boomer which should last until we get back to Orlando.
