While the D1 teams have started our local NAIA team kicks of the season today. Here in Nebraska we are going to have temps in the 60's (great) but also winds in the 20's - tough, especially since they will be blowing out to right field for the games.
While I liked to watch the Concordia (Seward, NE) Bulldogs in the past this year has extra special meaning. My team has been assisted last summer and again this summer by the ACE of the staff. She is an all conference pitcher and the girls really like having her around.
She will be busy the next 2+ months with school and ball but we will get to see her playing and on occasion at our games and practices. We hope her full time return is in late May as that means they are still playing.
