What purpose would that serve?

They've been around for many years and trained many successful pitchers and sent off to competitive college programs..loads of them. Respectfully, sounds like we are getting into ideology here, which isn't what I'm looking for.

What's the name of the facility? I'd love to know who they've sent to D1 programs. My daughter plays for a National team based in Rhode Island, so I'm pretty familiar with the top instructors in the area.

They may not use the same terminology as most of this board uses (IR (internal rotation), whip, brush, etc.). Tincher teaches IR, but calls it fluid dynamics(iirc), Fastpitch Power uses the term forearm fire for almost the same thing.

Knowing what they call their methodology can help determine if she’s learning the correct mechanics. Look at pitching instruction from just 10 years ago - and yet, there was no shortage of good college pitchers - many succeed or figure it out despite the firm beliefs in wrist snaps and other drills that’s since been proven to have a marginal (if any) impact on speed or accuracy.

As mentioned earlier - look through the IR in the Classroom thread, and compare it to what your daughters learning. Compare video. And ask lots of questions (palm up behind her? Should her elbow be bent or straight? Foot plant at 90 degrees to the plate or 45? Etc)

These are Tincher instructors in the area, don't know if any would be close to you. Tincher instructors have at least been certified (for whatever that is worth) and know and teach correct mechanics. I've personally not met a bad Tincher instructor yet:

As for other instructors, hopefully someone else can chime in.

For online instruction, you can do the IR in the classroom thread here (https://www.discussfastpitch.com/threads/i-r-in-the-classroom.10321/) progressing gradually from the lock it drills to liberty drills. Also look at youtube for anything from Javasource (https://www.youtube.com/@mikem9908), Balswick (https://www.youtube.com/@richbalswick2610/videos) and Pauly (https://www.youtube.com/@PaulyGirl1/videos). That can get you started,

I was going to recommend this route as well: https://tincherpitching.com/instructors/

We go to a Tincher instructor in Atlanta and it's been amazing. DD is now pitching at top levels and is nationally ranked (for what that's worth).
