Hello DFP members –

I would like to introduce the BAT TRAC.
A new softball hitting trainer designed to promote:
  • Quick hands and a direct path to the ball
  • Getting on plane early, helping create a larger hitting zone
  • Unmatched barrel control for more accuracy
  • Great for all ages and skill levels
  • Use your own bat, and hit live pitching and real softballs
Some recent coaches and instructors using the product and providing feedback:

Eddy Ketelhut – Former Division l Assistant Coach for the Auburn Tigers.
Head Coach 2017 National Championship team, Beverly Bandits.
Former USA Men’s Fastpitch team member.

Some of his feedback includes:
“It’s starting to make big improvements on kids quickly”
“She said her swing feels so much stronger. It makes the adjustment for you”
“Repeatability. Your tool teaches it subconsciously”

Coach James Brentlinger – Varsity Head Coach, Mercy High School Jaguars, Louisville, KY
Owner Top Prospects & Co-host of Softball Talk

What a thoughtful, informative post. You bring a lot of value to the boards, huh?

Almost as much as somebody who randomly joins only to sell a product and starts off by saying "I would like to introduce . . . " but never bothers to introduce themself.

Rookie mistake in Sales 101.

Responding to a joke or even a real criticism in that tone . . . not a good way to represent your employer. Rookie mistake #2.

Spamming multiple threads with a copy and paste advertisement . . . strike 3?

After more than 3,500 posts (some of which have been just snark, I admit), I really hope that I did not come in here with my first dozen posts as flim-flam widget-man. I don't recall though, maybe I did declare myself Umpire's gift to umpires.

Maybe I'm wrong, but a disconnected casting swing is still possible with the bat trac, correct?
Good question. Yes, that would be possible, but the BAT TRAC gives the player audible feedback when the Barrel accelerates along the TRAC, helping eliminate casting. At the end of our promo videos, there is an audio clip of the actual sound it makes.

I didn't randomly join; I joined DFP as a "vendor" to use the features they offer to companies. I have been on almost all the forums for over 23 years, although I haven't engaged much in the last six years, mostly lurking. I have seen many forums come and go. DFP has done a great job keeping their forum clean all these years. I did my due diligence before posting the introduction. I exchanged several messages with the moderators to ensure I followed proper protocol. I was told to post to any forum related to my product. One poster even asked me why I hadn't created a thread about my product. I replied that I was waiting for the moderator's reply before posting.

So, although you have rung me up on three strikes, I'll take another trip to the plate and come out swinging again. I might have a short fuse for snark remarks, and if posters want to dish it out, that's fine with me, but this is a discussion forum, so I will gladly engage. It would be more enjoyable to have thought-provoking discussions about the topic at hand. If you don't agree with the product, back up your remark with some thought, and let's have a discussion.
