Ebay and searchtempest.com (craigslist searcher) are your friends. I got a Jugs Jr for 400 bucks a few years ago.
This thing is spring loaded and tops out at 45MPH. If that is fast enough it is great. I have seen them in sports authority and dicks so you can run to the store and pick one up for @$200.

How much speed do you need to throw up a good fly ball?

The Jugs Juniors don't shoot them high enough imo.
Really?? We use a Jugs Jr. all the time for fly balls and they always go higher than any fly balls hit in a game.
Any idea where to find one at that price? I keep looking online, $180-ish is about the best I can find.

may have to go into your local walmart. we have several around us and all of them are on clearance(maybe the one's in the store are a different model, but looks the same to me).
