How to get a better grip on the ball?

Thanks guys. I got a rosin bag at academy sports. It helped her alot. She had 10 strikeouts thru 5 innings in 8th grade school ball

My DD only used rosin on turf fields in the humid weather. She still brought it out with her every inning, but when there was dirt she opted for that instead.
