The coach sounds like he wants the new bat to do his job - that is, teaching her how to hit for power. Ask him to suggest some hitting instructors to add pop since he obviously doesn't know how or want to do it himself.

I could be wrong but I don't think that's the situation. She's been going to the same hitting instructor for the last 2 years and has steadily increased in power. I think he just wants a little more pop.

Amy - thanks for the comment. We're thinking of trying out a -9 to see how that feels. Really doubt a -8 is in her futrue.

Wanna sell the CF3..lol..
I agree with some above. If it ain't broke, why fix it....
i've never seen your daughter hit with her CF3, but i have with my DD and others. I think the ball pops off that bat just fine. My daughter doesn't care for the CF4, but loves the CF3

Absolutely right. As long as the bat just "feels right" there are generally comfortable with it. By the way, we're going to keep the CF3 just in case...
