Crazy. The stakes are high for our kids, our society and humanity. My hope is that youth sports can somehow be a shining example of how to be a decent human being. Coaches who aren't up to the task, please go away.

Not condoning violence just talkin repercussion. Hold the person down until the police show up kinda thing...

As the other coach, I would send my girls off the field while I checked on the ump. Then I’d give him my contact info if he needed a witness and I would pack up and go home.

Ya know, an old fashioned, rear kickin' (be offended if you want) was a very effective form of social training. Too many never got reprimanded for bad behavior and it shows.

Coach has since stated that he takes "“full responsibility” but also claimed that it was the umpires fault as he was making 'unfair calls' and goes on to lie about what happened despite the video everyone can see.

Yeah, the not-an-apology- apology. Charges are being pressed as they should be.
