Atlanta Georgia Select Teams - Please advise - 16U

I have a good friend of mine moving to Atlanta this summer and her daughter is a very good softball player. They will be living in the South Atlanta area and trying to figure out which select teams/organizations are available for her to tryout for.

PLEASE, PLEASE share any teams, websites, tournament websites, etc. etc. for the area that might help his family hook up with a good Atlanta select team. She is currently a 9th grader and will be going into 10th next year and looking for a 16U team.

Georgia Impact, Atlanta Vipers, and East Cobb Bullets were all very tough teams my dd's team played. All three orgs produce multiple D1 Major commits every year.

First question is whether she wants to play in college. If so, then look at the teams that played in some of the showcases there, like the Atlanta Legacy-

If she's not a college prospect, then Coaches Corner will have most all the tryouts.

Also, we play HS ball in the fall here. Her new HS may have already held try-outs. Might be worth a call to the HS to see how they accommodate new students for the softball team.
