One of my long time students just moved to Abu Dhabi. She is a 6th grader and I just got a text from her mom. She is at an Americus school and they had softball in PE. She said it didn't work out too well, but she got called to the HS team! Winning! That is all I know about it. They will be there 3-4 years, so she could play HS ball in 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
Also, after just 3 weeks at the school, she was given Athlete of the Month.
They are happy. I am happy. I asked for a HS t-shirt.
